What languages does WIQ support?  

WIQ delivers in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. This is true for both the interface experienced by participants, as well as that used by session designers and leaders. 

 Does WIQ have a built-in online survey tool? 

 Yes. WIQ includes an industrial grade online survey platform. We don’t monkey around. You can create unlimited quantitative and qualitative questions. WIQ also includes skip logic and a full suite of filters. WIQ’s survey functionality is fully integrated with all of WIQ’s tools. 

 How do I bring WIQ into our company?  Decide how many participants you will have in the meeting or session, and then license one seat for each, plus one more for the session leader. You can license WIQ for a week, month or year. WIQ’s flexibility allows clients to license the base number of seat licenses they will need, and then add more during the specific periods when they need more. 

 Is any software downloaded onto my computer?  No.  WIQ is 100% browser based.  

Can WIQ help me design my session or meeting?  Yes. It is extremely easy to use WIQ to design your own session, or you also have the option of using one of our pre-prepared templates, called WIQLETs.

As a session leader, do I have options around how I conduct the meeting? 

 Yes. WIQ empowers the session leader to conduct the meeting in many modes. If you want to guide the participants from one question or activity to the next (and not let anybody jump ahead or fall behind), you use WIQ’s LOCKSTEP functionality. Leaders also have the option of running the meeting synchronously or asynchronously; or with anonymity or attribution. Leaders choreograph WIQ’s many options.  

What about anonymity?  How does anonymity work?  

Anonymity is very effective when it comes to getting answers, because it enables everyone’s voice to be heard.  Anonymity shatters many of the barriers that prevent productive meetings (silos, disengagement, fear, mistrust, hierarchy).  With WIQ, you can run a session anonymously or with attribution. WIQ’s flexibility even allows adding the anonymity feature on a question by question basis. 

 Can you provide a certified WIQ facilitator?  

Of course.  Clients of WIQ sometimes call on us to facilitate their sessions and sometimes they take care of this on their own (through either an internal leader or an external meeting facilitator they have used in the past).  

Will session participants be able to still contribute verbally?  

Yes. Think of WIQ as a high-tech / high-talk solution. The technology is leveraged to capture input from dozens (or hundreds) of participants in minutes – which can then be prioritized and used to drive deeper conversations. Those conversations are led by WIQ to create consensus and action plans.  

How do participants describe the experience…what is it like for them?  

98% of WIQ session participants score the experience a 9.8 or higher, meaning they felt their voice was heard, their time was respected and they had fun. If we were to try to paraphrase, the reaction we hear all the time is “finally, a meeting that wasn’t a waste of time.”

If we have multiple meetings/sessions going on, can I aggregate data real-time from different sessions?  

 Yes.  Only WIQ allows real time session data aggregation, across the room, across the country or across the world.  Just ask the Department of Defense, when WIQ connected a global meeting of shipboard, airborne and land-based personnel, aggregating data from different sessions real time.  

How quickly will I be able to access all of the data and create reports?  WIQ generates reports real-time. Clients can generate reports (on work in progress or a completed session) within seconds. WIQ’s filter capability lets you see data from many perspectives (based on keywords, demographics or just about any other variable).  

Can I re-brand WIQ to our company’s identity?  

 Yes.  You can customize the look and feel of WIQ, including your company logo.  

Can you deploy WIQ in a client-hosted environment?  

 Yes.  Although the vast majority of our clients love the convenience of our cloud-based solution, we can set up the system behind your firewalls on your servers.
